Everything is possible
Over the years we have not only sold many units under the hadewe brand, but also created several machines, brands and units under specific customer labels. This can range from an individual logo to a completely reshaped and customized unit. Basically, everything is possible. We have the know-how and the production capacities to manufacture any kind of drill. A reasonable quantity would be required to do this (50-100 units). Although it is not always an advantage to stray away from the hadewe name and brand, since it is well known and established in many countries (especially in podiatry related markets).
We would like to let you know that we can offer this individualized service as well.
Contract Manufacturing in Medical Technology
We develop and manufacture medical devices according to your ideas. From development to production, all processes take place in the production facility in Hanover. All precision parts are manufactured exactly to your requirements with our modern CNC machines.
In the assembly department, the components are assembled and tested according to the guidelines for medical devices. In the case of parts to be procured, we use suppliers who are certified or, if necessary, audited by us.

CNC Production
Our 20-strong machining team consists mostly of skilled workers and experienced production workers. The combination of computer-controlled machines and conventional machining enables economical production. For all external work such as hardening, anodizing or welding, we rely on long-standing partners from the region.
Materials
Almost no material is foreign to us. We also do not shy away from demanding materials.
Turning Parts
We manufacture turning parts up to 120 mm in diameter.
Milling Parts
Our machines can process milling parts in the size range up to 600x500x540mm.
Small & Medium Series / Prototypes
We produce item prototypes as well as small and medium series of 200 to 5000 pieces.
Company's History
1967 The hadewe GmbH was founded by Herbert Menzel in Hannover, Germany.
1967-1978 Production of precision parts was predominantly as contract work as well as for our own dental equipment program.
1979 Our product line is extended by handpieces for foot care.
1981 The first CNC machine, an Okuma LC-10, was purchased.
1986 Christian Menzel joins the company and becomes managing director in 1994.
1997 Dipl.-Ing. Stephan Menzel joins the company and becomes managing director in 2000.
1998 Implementation of the quality management system according to DIN EN ISO 9001, DIN EN 46001 and Annex II of the Medical Devices Directive
2002 Implementation of the quality management system according to EN ISO 13485 and Annex II of the Medical Devices Directive
2007/2011 Acquisition of the machining center Mikron VCE600+ and the automatic lathe Spinner TC400 extend the production spectrum.
2016 Installation of the automatic lathes EMCOTURN E45 M
2018 Acquisition of another machining center Mikron VCE600+
